Full Stack Developer

what the role involves

As a Full Stack Developer, your role will encompass a full approach to web development strategies for Climb Online and clients. Working closely with the marketing team, you’ll be championing best practices using web development frameworks, with the opportunity to build Climb Online’s web department.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Your first project will be to design and develop Climb Online’s new website
  • Design and develop highly complex web-based applications working across the full development lifecycle from requirements through to delivery
  • Build websites using a variety of CMS systems such as WordPress with SEO in mind
  • Support the technical SEO team with technical website fixes
  • Provide recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages
  • Support clients with new website launches, migration, CMS changes and cross-domain strategies
  • Have accountability for recommendations and prioritisations for clients
  • Regular communication with internal stakeholders, Technical SEO team and Project Managers
  • Keep pace with SEO, accessibility, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments

We want you to have

  • The extremely proficient back-end and front-end design and development
  • Proficient in full stack coding languages- PHP, HTML, JavaScript & CSS (Bootstrap, Angular, NodeJS, React)
  • Experience in database development (Including SQL)Experience in development of testing strategies
  • Experience building and designing websites on various CMS systems such as WordPress, Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, Drupal, etc)
  • Experience migrating websites
  • Strong appreciation of UX Principles and accessibility best practice.
  • SEO website best practice knowledge ideal.
