The Brief

Be Wiser Insurance came to Climb Online with a new site called Call Wiser.

A micro-site dedicated to making new enquiries over the phone for car, bike, van and home insurance.

The site had a very generic design and was not ranking on any search engines for keywords relating to their proposition.

Be Wiser were looking for a cost-effective strategy to improve the visual aesthetics of their website and to improve their search rankings to drive natural and quality traffic to the Call Wiser website.

Our Approach

We worked closely with Be Wiser’s in-house development team to create a fresh-looking website.

With an easy navigation and clear calls-to-action for customers, we intended to optimize the site for conversions and create a low bounce rate. We incorporated a number tracking elements using Google Analytics allowing Be Wiser to test different customer journeys, phone numbers and URLs.
For search engine optimisation, we followed a clear white-hat approach. Using a variety of bespoke tools, we conducted strong keyword research and used our findings to create new meta-data and fresh content which was uploaded on a gradual basis. In addition, we generated trustworthy links from notable directories, industry-relevant websites and publications.

Our Results

We achieved a professional and user-friendly website, fully responsive on desktop, mobile and tablet.

For search engine optimisation, Call Wiser currently has 127 keywords ranked in the first two pages of Google:

  • 12 keywords in positions 1-3

  • 43 keywords in positions 4-10

  • 72 keywords in positions 11-20
